Thank you for all your sweet comments and emails while I have been away for the past...WAY too long! But, I am back for good! In case you don't know why I have been gone for so long you should check out this Facebook status, this Instagram picture, and this board on my Pinterest! If those didn't clue you in on what's going on in the lives of Race and Emma then I'll give you some more hints with some pictures of Christmas gifts we received!
A beautiful Willow Tree statue from my sister.
A carseat {not pictured: matching stroller} from my mom and an adorable blanket from Race's mom.
An adorable outfit I got on clearance from Target. I will somehow make this work for a boy or a girl!
{This was a Christmas gift to myself. :]}
Okay, if that didn't help then here's one final riddle for you: What is 11 weeks old, has ears, is growing tiny fnger and toenails, and is the size of a lime?
Now, if all of that didn't clue you in {which I'm sure it did} then I will just come out and say it! I AM PREGNANT! :] And Race and I are super excited! I am eleven weeks along today and I have my first doctor's appointment in a week. We are hoping we will get to hear Little Goose's heartbeat and see that everything is going smoothly. {Little Goose is what I call our baby since we don't know if it is a boy or a girl yet and I feel bad calling it it. Anyway, I'm pretty sure everyone else thinks it's a weird name but I'm sticking with it!}
So, that's what has been going on with us and that is the main reason why I have been absent from the blogging community for so long. Over the break I was pretty sick and didn't have easy access to a computer so it helped me to relax and work on growing Little Goose. Now that I'm nearing the second trimester I am feeling a bit better and finally getting off my butt! Race and I are starting our last semester of school next Monday and we are so excited to almost be done with school. This semester will be full of growing Little Goose, finishing school, job searching, figuring out where we are going to live after we graduate, and preparing to bring an adorable little one into the world. It will be an exciting and very busy semester and we are so ready for it!

ReplyDeleteWhat WONDERFUL news! I am 30 weeks on Sunday and really think getting pregnant was the best decision we ever made. It really changed my perspective on everything and strengthened my testimony! So happy for you! I craved salads and fruit early on as well. My friend told me that meant I was having a boy and I am so maybe...;-)
ReplyDeleteEmma, you are amazing! I am soooo happy for you! This is the best news ever! I love how I don't know why I hadn't read this already, seeing as how I stalk your blog pretty darn faithfully. I must have missed it on my blog feed, but thanks for commenting on my blog! Ah. So happy for you. You are seriously my biggest role model. Best wishes, hope that you spend more time enjoying the pregnancy than being sick! Love, Lauren
