Dressing 'Le Bump'

Like I said in my last post, I really have been enjoying dressing my growing bump. :] For the most part I have not bought maternity clothes. I got some maternity jeans on sale at Target that I have yet to wear and some shorts at Savers that I also have not worn yet. Before I was pregnant I bought a couple of maternity shirts that I liked just as shirts so I have worn those but that's it! I'm sure I will need more maternity clothes at some point but for now I'm enjoying leggings and skirts/dresses a lot and most of my jeans still fit so far! Thank goodness! Anyway, here's the breakdown of one of my favorite comfy maternity outfits as of late!

Breakdown:
Shirt/Dress thing: Target Maternity {one of the shirts I bought forever ago} $5
Sweater: Old Navy $6
Leggings: Target $8
Shoes: Target $7
Headband: Made by my sister-in-law Jackie!
Necklace: F21 $1.50
Bracelets: Made by my sister-in-law Nikki!

This outfit is so comfy and cute so I've worn it a few times. I try and change it up some but it's pretty much the same thing. I guess more comfy maternity shirts like this one would be great! I'm just cheap so I'll only be buying them if they're on sale. So keep a lookout for me!

P.S. If anyone has some awesome tips for where to buy maternity clothes and stuff I'm all ears!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Saturday!

  1. I tried to go Maternity shopping yesterday (my bump is a lot bigger than yours from the look of it and most of my regular pants are super uncomfortable) and everything was so dang expensive! I don't want to pay a whole bunch for a wardrobe I'm hopefully not going to have to wear long, you know?! Frustrating!

  2. That is such a cute outfit! I may have to find something like that even though I'm not pregnant! It just looks so comfortable. :)

  7. I wish I were more fashionable! Your outfits on instagram are always adorable. I had to buy some dressier pants for work, and I got them at Old Navy with a coupon and they were on sale. I found a shirt there on clearance, too, which will fit me in a few weeks I hope.

  8. Aww, I love it! Of the maternity dressing days...

I just bought a lot of tunic type shirts in one size up from my usual and wore the crap out of my leggings. Get leggings in every shade if you haven't already!

  11. I was overweight before I got prego so my bump is bigger than yours! Haha - that's werid, right?

But I've found that there are LOTS of ladies willing to give away their maternity clothes! It's easier (and less discouraging) than going shopping I think!

Also - when do you find out the gender?? And are you doing to announce it??

  12. Gap has good quality maternity clothes. I found some really good deals in store. They are also pretty much the only place i found that carried pants size 2 or smaller. I wore some of my regular clothes- definitely get a bella band to go over your jeans. I was able to wear my real pants the whole time that way. Also try old navy.
